    Things that worked for me to stop hair fall

    Are you facing the same issue as faced by me previously; the most irritating and scary Hair fall? Hair strands falling out on your comb, tee shirt and even towel? Don’t worry, here today I will share with you a list of remedies that I have tried and especially the things that worked for me to stop hair fall.

    Hair fall can be due to several reasons. Most common reasons are nutritional deficiency and genetic issues. It is common in both men and women and is a cause of concern for both. But, little did I know that it could well be cured at home until I tried the following remedies and found relief with the same.

     

    1) Coconut oil/Milk massage

    Just take some freshly grated coconut and squeeze some milk from it or heat some virgin coconut oil. Now take either of it and massage a generous amount on your scalp and roots. Let it stay for 20-30 minutes and rinse it off using a mild shampoo for best results.

    During this process the Vitamin E, from coconut enriches the moisture in your hair and its anti-microbial properties help in keeping your hair free from any infections too. This one is my personal favourite as it is the easiest to follow.

    2) Aloe Vera

    Aloe Vera is useful not only for your skin but is extremely beneficial for your hair too. Add various products like shikakai, neem, liquorice, lemon Juice, cinnamon and even honey to make a hair pack. Apply it using a brush on your hair and scalp. Let it sit for about 20 minutes and rinse it off without using a shampoo. If possible use Luke warm water. This will help your hair by strengthening its roots and also improving their growth and shine.

    3) Juice from Onion

    Take any onion and grate it. Then squeeze the grated onion to get some juice. This juice should be applied on your scalp till the tips of your hair. Leave it in your hair for half an hour and finally wash it off using a mild shampoo.

    Note: Since some people do not like the onion odour thus, honey and rose water can be added to the juice to avoid the odour and accentuate the results.

     

    4) Indian Gooseberry (Amla)

    Indian Gooseberries can be paired with either aloe vera, coconut oil or lime juice to make a paste perfect for adding strength to your hair and also improving its growth. This so happens as Amla is rich in Vitamin C. Just apply any of the above mixture respectively and wash it off after 20-30 minutes using Luke warm water.

    5) Methi or fenugreek

    Not the leafy fenugreek but its seeds is what we are referring to here. Take some fenugreek seeds and add them to yogurt and add an egg to it. Now apply this paste on your hair length and scalp. Now let it sit for a good half an hour and finally you can rinse your hair using water. Do not shampoo or use any other product in your hair. It will strengthen your hair and prevent hair fall.

    6) Egg Whites

    Egg whites are extremely rich in protein. Thus, use them as it is on your hair or mix them with other healthy ingredients like olive oil or honey to provide that extra boost of nutrition to your beautiful locks to gain strength and add to your beauty. Let the egg white stay in your hair for about 15 minutes and then wash using a good smelling mild shampoo. For better results this remedy can be applied twice a week.

    7) Henna or Mehendi

    It is a widely accepted fact that henna is often used to cover greys but little did I know; until I tried it by myself that henna can help in controlling hair fall and maintaining luscious locks for a long time. Just make a henna paste with water and apply it on your scalp and your hair. Let it stay put for 30-40 minutes. Then wash off using a good mild quality shampoo.

     

    8) Green Tea

    This is again one of my favourites. Just take 2-3 tea bags of green tea add them to boiling water. Let them soak in water till it comes to room temperature. Now use the water flavoured with these tea bags to wash your hair and *tadaa* shine, healthy and strong hair are ready to be flaunted.

    These eight home remedies have been tested personally and believe you in me they actually work wonders. Just try them one at a time and get to see the results of each of the methods in the first go itself.     Thigh fat is something which everyone wants to get rid of it. You are ready to try every possible way to burn that stubborn fat, and could not witness a remarkable change.     Exercise

    You can try to do some simple exercise to lose thigh fat. Exercise such as Leg stretch, Leg up, Air cycling, Lunges, Scissor kick and Squat will help you shed fat from the thighs and lower body. Working out this exercise daily will maintain proper blood circulation and tone up your muscles. Especially, workouts like lunges and scissors are an excellent exercise for inner thighs and buttocks. Air cycling doesn’t only help you to lose fat from inner thighs but also takes care of joints of knees and pelvis.

    Note: Working out squat will help you to build your muscles, so start doing this exercise only after you had lost few pounds of fat. Otherwise, you will end up in bigger thighs, because building up the muscles will make your thighs look bigger.

    Cardiovascular exercise

    Cardiovascular exercises are the best way to reduce your body weight. Though there are several types of cardio exercise, biking, stationary bike, running, treadmill, aerobics, elliptical trainer, and jumping are best choices for losing overall body weight and burn your thigh fat. Cardio exercises make your heart pump, and thus it burns fat a faster rate. In addition to the above-mentioned workouts, ensure you do Cardiovascular exercises for 60 minutes five to six days a week.

    Running

    Running and Jogging helps in reshaping your legs by slimming your thighs. Experts consider running as the best work out as it reduces the muscle size by burning excess fat. So people with big thighs should spare minimum 30 minutes every day for walking. Indulging yourself in walking with little incline can slim down your thighs in weeks.

    Aerobics

    Aerobics is also another best way to lose thigh fat. Indulging in aerobics does not tone your inner thighs but also burn overall body fat. Apart from this, you can also consider doing jogging and dancing. These work out helps in increasing the heart rate and cut down the thigh fat. 30 minutes of aerobics or dancing every day can do wonders.

    Healthy Diet

    A healthy diet is essential to burn fat and maintains a healthy weight. Consider following the below-mentioned points in your everyday diet. You cannot cut down carbohydrate altogether from your diet, because carbs are one of the essential micronutrients. You should daily consume around 1200-1500 calories. Instead of cutting it down completely, you can consider taking low-calorie food and healthy carbs. Experts suggest that for a healthy diet your meal plate should contain proper proposition of protein, fats, and carbs.

    The proportion of micronutrient:

    Your daily calorie intake should not come only by consuming carbs; you should also consume healthy fat and lean protein. You can also consider having complex carbohydrate.

    1. 20% to 30% of your daily calorie should be from healthy fat food.
    2. 45% to 65% of your calorie should be from carbs such as whole grains, cereals, vegetables, and fruits
    3. 50% to 95% of your calorie should be from poultry, meat, and fish

    Unhealthy diet:

    • Avoid eating unhealthy carbs such as sugar, butter, biscuits and processed food.
    • Avoid eating excess sugar items. It can be a dessert, soda, beverage, or any carbonated drink.
    • Avoid pastries, cakes, chocolate, and butter cookies.

    Healthy diet:

    • Healthy carbs can be obtained from cereals like brown or unpolished rice, multigrain flour, multigrain biscuits, hand-pounded rice, whole wheat bread, and cereals.
    • Consuming green tea every day helps you lose few pounds. Green tea is a rich source of antioxidant and has very less calorie. Additionally, they also protect your cells from free radicals.
    • Fresh juice or fruit bowl is also a good choice. You can get all essential nutrients with very minimal calorie

    Liposuction

    Now, you have tried all possible ways to slim down your thighs, and if nothing seems to work, or if you have big thighs due to stubborn fat then Liposuction is not a bad choice. Liposuction is a common method through which excess fat that lies under your skin will be removed. This will be done with the help of vacuum and cannula. Even after undergoing liposuction, you need to follow a healthy diet and continue physical exercise.
